The Bush administration and McCain say that this bill is crucial to pass otherwise we may not be able to use our credit cards at Wallmart... then they can't even get their party members to vote for the Republican administrations own bail out package... John Boner or Boehner or whatever his name is comes out and says Nancy Pelosi said mean things so they lost 12 republicans with thin skin who got their feelings hurt... gimmie a break.. whiney chumps...

Paul Newman tried to make this a better place...
I grew up hearing many great things about Paul Newman, most important to me that he worked on race and civil rights causes for those not as fortunate as himself. My great Aunt Faye was a fellow actress and worked with him on some of these issues. At the time, standing up for civil rights issues said so much more about the person than it does today. I think we take for granted what was achieved only fifty short years ago. Todays actors make so much and touch so many more.... yet, I feel a lack of connectedness and purpose from todays stars. So much power just wasted...

The fundamentals of my bubble are strong....
Will Bush's bubble fit John McCain? Watching McCain this last week is like when you're driving home late at night and there's a drunk swerving across all the lanes in front of you. 911!!!
I doubt that if the fundamentals of our economy were strong last week that we'd be in the national emergency we're in this week.
Something that's been bothering me... if and when I go to a bank to get a loan... they have me fill out all these papers and they make me turn over proof of my income and the whole process usually takes a month or two... Paulson and Bernanke want a loan for 700 billion turned around in a week. Gimmie a break... Where's Nell Carter when you need her.
Foreign Policy... fail
Disaster Response... fail
Energy Policy... fail
Economy... fail
Compassionate conservatism... fail
Now McCain wants a time out from the campaigning when his poll numbers are plummeting, Sarah Palin is finally getting heat from hiding from the press, and Rick Davis hearts Fannie Mae shirts are uncovered? I don't think so.... it's time to put our boot on the Republican throat and make them beg for mercy or some macho thing like that... rarrrghhhh... say uncle...

First Class...
Where's the photo of Dubya looking out the window of Air Force One onto the mess that is Bear Stearns, or Lehman Brothers or AIG? Where's the photo op in front of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae?
This is what the Republican party considers fiscally conservative? Sounds like corporate socialism to me. Welfare for the stock market gamblers. There's plenty of blame to pass around... but Dubya is sitting there saying, nobody expected this. He acted shock that the failures of Wall Street could actually effect the average citizen. This is the same guy who wanted to privatize Social Security and loosen the regulations on the Health Care system.
Bush was a failed Cheerleader, a failed North Easterner, a failed National Guard pilot, a failed Oil man, a failed Baseball owner, a failed Governor and people voted for him like he was an outsider that was going to bring miraculous change to Washington... What a joke. The only thing's he's proven is that he's a royal douche.

The surge of our money hasn't worked and won't work...
Not raising taxes while we're at war? Asking future generations to pay for our war, our humvee's, our new blue ray players? nice.... class act... The surge of money to Iraq didn't work, as much as John Bush McCain would like you to believe. The surge of our money hasn't brought the sunni's, shia and kurds together. The surge of our money hasn't helped them agree one oil revenues and sharing. The surge of our money hasn't helped them spend their 79 billion oil surplus that they are not spending.
I think the worse part is that the surge of our money is actually coming off our Bank of China mastercard... or is it our Beijing Visa with the picture of pandas eating bamboo on it.
The surge of money is not going to fix Iraq. They have to work it out for themselves and we need to leave our half built Neo-Con, Haliburton, blood of our troops Mega-Bases in the oasis that is the spread freedom.

No nation building!

All we want is the oil.. just leave...
Drill baby drill. That's basically what we'll be doing... We're drilling the babies of today for our own short-sightedness. Babies born today... you don't get clean coast lines... as a matter of fact... you'll probably get drastically different coast lines... you get no arctic... no polar bears.... no social security...
What do you get? More carbon sweet air and our generations credit bill. Good luck with that babies...
