Slow Walk - an exercise in pure conjecture

The #TrumpRussia investigation ebbs and flows as it moves along and the people in power are in control of the tide.

When things were moving too quickly and Sally Yates was preparing to testify in front of the House Intelligence Committee, suddenly Devin Nunes was urgently summoned to look at secretive documents. Documents that could be held up as a straw man for reasoning a halt to the then flowing investigation.

Adam Schiff was nowhere to be found as Devin, Michael Ellis and Ezra-Cohen Watnick huddled around the glow of a secretive computer within the White House SCIF. Schiff wasn’t in the SCIF. The Senator wasn’t invited. And with that, the powers behind the three young spy men successfully altered the course of information and justice.

What would make a promising Congressman/Dairy Farmer from Fresneck California do such a thing? Was it the connection to the campaign? The Russian Oligarch’s tentacles caressing his Alpha Omega winery? Or was it misguided ties to his ancestral homeland, Portugal. Sure it could be any number of these Kompromat dreams, but you can’t know everything that make up a man.

Or perhaps, it was just money. Did the link of money pass from Nunes, through Donald Trump right back to Russian Banks? Or did it lead to Robert Mercer and his computer hedge fund play set? Most likely a combination of the two plus any number of bills owed by #TrumpRussia come due.

Is Donald a pawn who likes to play King dress up? If so, than his current worth is fleeting. Their are many pieces behind him to keep our eye on. And before we start a Pence Pyre, I think it’s better to focus on what the Moon has in store for the next incoming tide.

Senator Mark Warner beware, Senator Burr is slow walking the investigation of his culpable friends. #TrumpRussia effectively touched Mitch McConnell, Mike Pompeo, Paul Ryan, and on and on. Taking money from Putin’s shell Oligarchs muddies the hands. All these GOP men have dirty hands. Mr. Burr is holding back an investigation that burns for urgency. The Russians are in the White House. They’re in the voting machines. Urgency now and urgency yesterday. Why would Mr. Burr leisurely genuflect as he saunters along? Is it because Mr. Rybolovlev likes to visit North Carolina at strange times? Or is it because the same Oligarch has invested North Carolina infrastructure. Kompromat? That’s conjecture. I know nothing.

We are the light of the Sun. The Moon is merely a reflection. The light is truth and justice. We will not waiver, for we are larger and everything smaller revolves around us. The people and the good moral values we share and hold dear will bind us on our journey forward.

I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and dog-gone it, people like me. Little truth here... I donated to two candidates last year, President Obama and I'm glad to finally say, Senator Franken. Now that the 2008 elections are finally over, perhaps we can really see how this government shakes out. A number of my conservative/republican friends have been flying off the handle about Obama being a crazed socialist (I think W started this with the tarp and the mishandling of the economy with the lauded strong fundamentals) and non-US citizen. You know, sometimes during the last eight years, I felt like a wing nut.. a tin foil hat.. a whack job for all the problems I saw in our government and the world. Now that we have a Democratic Government in the House/Senate and White House, I see my Republican friends are now feeling the same way as I did. I somehow feel compassion and pity for them... nah.. nevermind... it's over. I can't stand them again. Gov. Sanford is a privileged self centered tool. He's the perfect example of the Republican Hypocrite that wants the Govt. out of our lives but then wants the Governments help to put the church in our lives.

Okay, this is quickly turning into what I want to get away from. I don't want this to just be a place for me to rant. I want to raise the bar or lower it if were playing Limbo. Keep chekcing back for Liberal Not Stagnant 2.0. More political commentary and less mud slinging. It's going to be difficult because I get so incensed with people that.. okay.. I'm going to stop.

Okay.. I'm late. Yay, Obama won. I'd never be able to describe how happy I was the night of the election. I was with friends, I was by myself, I was with total strangers... the entire night was glee. People were rapt with attention at the two bars I was at as the states fell to Obama. Afterward, I headed back downtown to the convention center to see the local and final results come in. The whole night was grand (except for Prop 8 passing and Al not winning yet... soon.) Okay.. so not blog until now.. why? Well, I felt like we stormed the place and shot all the bad guys dead.. but there was an easy calm and silence as the smoke began to rise. It ain't over.. not even close. It's never over... the fight goes on... there's Eric Cantor hiding behind a spittoon, there's John McCain trapped inside a closet... the gun lobby and the wall street bankers are fleeing on horses plotting to fight another day. To change metaphors from cowboys to football.... nice handoff Bush.. I guess I should save the economic collapse (I thought they said the fundamentals of our economy are strong) for another blog... just popping in to work out the kinks.

Yay Obama.. yay Dems.. yay science.. yay common sense and decency..

Originally, I thought Scooter's pardon date would be December 26th... but now... I'm starting to think Dubya might move up his celebrity pardon to hide it amidst the election. Perhaps he'll drop the Paris Hilton get out of jail free card while all the media is slapping itself on the back. Now, I have to stick to my original prediction... cuz that's how I roll... but if you're going to spring him like a celebrity, why not do it in prime time.

On a side note... is it just me or wouldn't a Target Lady Wasilla be perfect for an SNL skit. Miss Palin returns to Alaska only to lose her job as governor and has to get a job at the new Wasilla Target. She has to buy her clothes from Target instead of Neiman Macus.

I should have known that someone that loved Goldwater so much was actually intellectually rotten to the core. I think, for a time, I was fooled into liking John McCain. He railed against extreme evangelicals, he apparently liked Nine Inch Nails, he ran as an alternate to Bush in 2000... I even entertained the thought that he might have been a good vp choice for Kerry. Thank god none of that matters anymore. This campaign and the three debates have proven that he is totally wrong to lead this country. Actually, he's kind of scary. He's turning out to be more like a Randy Duke "Maverick? Cunningham and less and less like a John Rambo. His utter lack of original ideas or the ability to look forward is depressing. After eight years of a brainless president... I need an intellectual. I could care less if he's elitist. I want elite for a president.. I want more brainnnnsss....

401k's are trickling down to nothing. Do we have to buy our own 401k rape kits? Are all the CEO's that bailed out with golden parachutes re-investing in America or are they sheltering their profits off shore? Did the market regulate itself? Did greed listen to it's better angels? Sure, I sound like a ranting idiot.... but I'm laughing all the way to the "I told you so bank" ITYSB... would you like to invest?
